Description

Precision-carved 2A12 aluminum leather embossing mold featuring a continuous floral and leaf pattern, designed for repeating belt and strap projects.

• This is an infinite extension / continuous-pattern leather embossing mold.
• The pattern can be repeated to create a longer, visually continuous design.
• Please make sure you understand how to align consecutive impressions before purchasing.
• This mold is designed primarily for leather belts, straps, and long leather panels.
• Vegetable-tanned leather is recommended for the best embossing result.
• A hydraulic press and a soft silicone pad are strongly recommended.
• Always test the moisture level, pressure, and alignment on scrap leather before embossing your final project.

How To Use

1. Lightly spray the vegetable-tanned leather with clean water until the surface is evenly damp. Do not completely soak the leather.

2. Secure the mold firmly in the center of the hydraulic press, making sure it remains flat and stable.

3. Place a soft silicone pad on the lower pressing surface.

4. Position the damp leather over the silicone pad and carefully center the mold above the area to be embossed.

5. Adjust the pressure before making the final impression. Begin with lower pressure and gradually increase it until the desired embossing depth is achieved.

6. An 8–10 ton electric hydraulic press is recommended. However, different machines, leather thicknesses, moisture levels, and leather characteristics may require different pressure settings.

7. Always make a test impression on scrap leather before embossing your final piece.

8. To extend the pattern, carefully align the beginning of the mold with the end of the previous impression.

9. Check the connecting area before applying full pressure to reduce visible gaps, overlaps, or misalignment.
