Description

Handmade 2A12 aluminum leather embossing mold with a continuous floral pattern, designed for repeating belt and strap work.

Important – Please Read Before Purchase

• This is an infinite extension / continuous pattern leather embossing mold.
• Please make sure you understand how to align repeating impressions before purchasing.
• For best results, vegetable-tanned leather is recommended.
• Please use dampened leather, a soft silicone pad, and a hydraulic press.
• Recommended machine: electric hydraulic press.
• Suggested pressure: about 8–10 tons.
• However, different machines, leather thicknesses, moisture levels, and leather characteristics may require different pressure settings.
• Please always test on scrap leather before working on your final project.

How To Use

1. Lightly spray the leather with clean water until it is evenly damp. Do not soak it too much.

2. Fix the mold securely in the center of the hydraulic press so it stays flat and stable.

3. Place a soft silicone pad underneath.

4. Put the damp leather on top of the silicone pad and position it carefully.

5. Adjust the pressure and test first before making the final impression.

6. The suggested pressure is around 8–10 tons with an electric hydraulic press, but different machines and different leather thicknesses behave differently, so testing is necessary.

7. For continuous embossing, carefully align the next impression with the previous one before pressing.
